Artist Management
Currently considering new artists for management representation!
We believe in keeping our roster of artists small in order to devote the time and energy necessary in advancing our artists’ careers. In today’s music industry climate, the role of artist manager has become an even more important one and we have welcomed the challenge of filling in the gaps to ensure constant progress. Working very closely with our large network of booking agents, publicists, indie/major record and publishing companies, we develop strategies that support a well thought out plan in building the artist’s career. To us a long term plan is vital. We encourage our artists to develop all their talents in the entertainment industry, whether it may be shopping their song catalogues for possible placements with other artists, or synch opportunities for film and television. Much of the talent we have worked with over the years have expanded their careers to film and stage, voice over and, music production for other artists.
At Comino, we listen to all kinds of music and our roster over the years reflects that. We have worked in genres such as rock, pop, adult and indie alternative, and most recently Americana, folk and roots.
Since its inception in 2002, Comino Productions Inc. has represented a variety of artists such as pop star Anna Sahlene (Lionheart Records/EMI Music Pub. Sweden), rockers Prime STH (Network Ent./Reprise Records/Warner Chappell Music Sweden), New York indie duo The Animators, LA based producer Darryl Swann (Sony ATV/Macy Gray), rock band Straight Frank (Bodog Records Germany), alt/country band Baskery (Veranda/Glitterhouse Records), Indie Folk Canadian artist Jadea Kelly (Darth Jadea, True North), acoustic guitar instrumentalist Jimmy Wahlsteen (Candyrat Records, EMI Music Pub Sweden), Winnipeg roots pop group Sweet Alibi, Indie Folk artist Ben Kunder and Juno nominated roots/blues artist Roxanne Potvin,
